Guy Kaplan will be running a week of illustration and juggling. If you haven’t held a pencil in your hand since school this is a chance to teach your hand how to create what your eye sees or what you have in your imaginary world without fear of judgment but with the will to be conscious and learn each moment from each line or drop of color. This is your opportunity to unlock the artist within.
Guy will be sharing much experience and knowledge of art history and different ideas, techniques and materials. We will try to ask ourselves relevant questions in order to figure simple matters as what attracts me, why do I paint and where does this force come from?
Can i actually improve my eye sight?
Guy will also be opening us up to the joy of juggling! Whether you know how to keep three oranges in the air at once or not, there will be group and individual exercises to improve coordination and get both hemispheres of the brain working at once. We will use the whole body as a whole, draw our rings, clubs and balls and juggle our colors.
You are welcome to bring all sorts of colors and papers. Juggling props, and your open mind.
