Imagine if you could just walk into nature and feed yourself with what you found on your way…
Vanda Jones will be showing us how to do that and will also open us up to a new relationship with nature, awakening our senses as in the hunter-gatherer days of old.
In her own words:
‘I’m an ‘under the tree, nose in the pollen, face on the ground’ sort of teacher. I believe in using all our senses to learn and to remember, to create intimate connections with nature, plants, life in general. We wil smell the pungent, earthy perfumes. caress the gentle duvet or the prickly edges of leaves. Tasting and exploring textures and savouring subtle nuances.
By becoming aware of the riches of nature ,we are gifted a greater freedom .In learning the plants that nourrish us and heal us,we offer ourselves a life changing experience.
In less poetic terms,we will learn how to identify, gather and process the plants that we will find around the “Road Junky Oasis’ in October.
